Which team will win the NBA title?
Fri May 14, 2010
For those that haven't been following along, this isn't the same old Suns. Hottest offense in the league, but now with much improved defense. That combination was deadly against the Spurs. The same Spurs who used to knock the Suns out year after year couldn't win a single game against them.
The House has passed an historic health care overhaul. Are you excited or angry?

You need to take a pill. You really have a sick view of this great country. You have extreme issues. At least ATTEMPT to get your facts right. Congress MUST use the same insurance that everyone else uses. They must get it from the same pool, it's IN THE BILL.

Sorry you can't understand this. You are trying to equate the new bill with a "government program". You obviously bought the lie that this is a Government take-over". Just another lie.

The poor will get help in two ways. 1. The premium will be lower because of large pools and insurance exchanges 2. If they still cannot afford basic insurance, the government will assist with some of the cost.

You don't know? Seriously? Let me 'splain it to you. The hosplital must charge everyone else a higher amount for care. They're not about to swallow the costs and go bankrupt because of all the "free care" they give out.
Do you agree with the Supreme Court ruling allowing corporations and unions to spend freely in political campaigns?

Easy answer. We don't trust them. Favoring corporations above my real property rights was just a prelude. Now, favoring corporations above my basic citizenship rights determining my own representation..... Corporatocracy is now the form of government we all are subject to.

Corporations are considered "citizens" of the states where they are incorporated, and in some rare cases, citizens of the state where they have corporate headquarters.

BSCK, I find your opinion much too cynical for my tastes. You can certainly give examples of some of the inequalities in our system. God knows, it's not perfect. But to basically throw-up your hands and turn your back is an extreme overreaction. It's the best system on the planet.

Must be nice, being born with that silver spoon in your mouth, not having to work for a living. Or maybe you're a government or government-funded institutional employee, getting paid with money that was taken from my hard-fought earnings.

So many here and on FOX are applauding the decision. They support the "right" of corporations or "any group of people" to broadcast their political views. And on the surface, this argument may seem to make sense. Freedom of speach seems to be the honorable reason for this decision.
